音樂，作為一種生活態度

　　 Robert Frost 的 The road not taken ，是高中英文課必讀的一首詩。這幾天在網路上無意間看到，又讀了一遍。 Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I － I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. 　　若干年前我還穿著制服坐在台下聽老師講課，聽翻譯和文法修辭都沒問題，但其實聽不太懂老師解釋這首詩文的內涵，讀完也沒什麼感覺，因為當時的我選了和多數高中生同樣的一條路：努力讀書、考好學測、再努力讀書、再考好指考、填進名校！ 　　結果進了大學之後就走歪了。　開玩笑啦！ 　　現在回首

　　去年年尾，我開始著手錄製自己的演奏專輯。 　　這輩子第一次進錄音室，是國小六年級時跟著學校直笛團錄紀念專輯，當時什麼都不懂，只覺得很好玩，反正老師怎麼帶我們就怎麼吹；一直到大學後，修了相關的課，而後再度進錄音室，才體會到錄音要注意的眉眉角角非常多，耳朵像是開竅了一樣。 　　 　　而這次進錄音室，我才發現我的琴有個致命的缺陷－大力撥絃時會發出雜音。 （消滅雜音示意圖） 　　一開始以為是雁柱的問題，因為雜音來自於幾個有嫌疑的雁柱，喬了半天，也換了整套，雜音還是在，於是論定是面板用久變形造成。 　　雖然錄音師說因為錄音室非常安靜，有許多人進了錄音室才發現平常沒發現的問題，我還是為我平日練琴時的耳聾狀態感到羞恥= =。（看來最適合練琴的時間是大半夜啊） 　　除了雜音，多聽幾次錄音，還會對先前的詮釋有意見。 　　對於這樣的錄音作品捫心自問，若干年後再聽，能忍受細微的雜音嗎？ 　　能忍受自己音沒按準嗎？ 　　能忍受自己速度不穩嗎？ 　　所以，在錄音師強力建議以及自己的審慎考慮之下決定...... 　　換台琴重錄吧！ 　　人生不做會讓自己後悔的事。
